Solid phase reactor columns for flow chemistry

SolventPlus and HiT Columns for Flow ChemistryOmnifit® Labware columns are ideal for use as column reactors within a flow chemistry system. Column reactors can be used for both reaction protocols and in-line purifications and enable the use of solid phase chemistry such as solid-supported reagents, catalysts or scavengers. The columns can also be heated using a heating block or jacket. The wide variety of Omnifit column dimensions allow chemists to choose the optimum diameter and length of reactor vessel for their application. The most common sizes used are 6.6mm, 10mm and 15mm inner diameter and 50 or 100mm length. This results in a wide range of possible column volumes, ranging from 0.7 to 12.4ml. Adjustable column endpieces (plungers) allow columns to be part-filled and further expand the possible volumes achievable. Depending on the chemistries involved, users can choose SolventPlus™ columns in glass and PTFE for the highest chemical compatibility, or HiT™ with glass and PEEK™ construction for higher temperature stability. Omnifit columns are the reactors of choice for leading academics, and several market leaders in flow chemistry instrumentation offer Omnifit columns as the columns of choice for use with their automated reactor systems.

Why not try an Omnifit column as your next solid phase chemistry reactor?
