Do you need to store maximum volumes of samples in a small 96-well tube configuration? If so, Octygen offers you a tube with a working volume of 475μL. The 0.50ml tube is unique in its design as it is the first externally threaded 96-well screw cap tube in the market.
Octygen tubes are the first externally threaded 2D coded, 0.50ml screw cap sample storage tubes. They are manufactured from high purity polypropylene in a controlled environment compliant with ISO 14644 and medical manufacturing standard ISO 13485.
Each Octygen tube is uniquely identified with a laser etched 2D Data-Matrix code that will never wear or fall off. The tubes have an inner V-bottom with flat centre, are 25.6mm tall and offer a large 475μL working volume.
Octygen tubes can save 40% of the freezer space compared to other 0.50ml screw cap tubes in 96-well format. Consequently the increased storage density with Octygen tubes translates into direct savings on your storage costs.
The external thread design of Octygen tubes reduces the risk of sample contamination. The special design of the Octygen tube and cap minimises diffusion of vapour during storage, even in dehumidified automation areas, thereby ensuring high sample integrity.
0.50ml Octygen tubes are supplied pre-capped with black screw caps in automation compatible racks. The tubes feature a Twist-Lock’ design to prevent turning during screw capping.
