This is a full-time role based at the Cole-Parmer, St Neots, UK facility.

Job dimensions and necessary skills/ competencies
Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of customer service and relationship building in a B2B environment
Demonstrate a knowledge of the features and benefits of PCR and Techne products.
Demonstrate knowledge of sales techniques through the use of effective questioning and objection handling
Confident user of Microsoft Office suite
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
An exceptional eye for detail, time management & interpersonal skills
Educated to a degree level in Biology with a heavy emphasis on Genetics and ideally an understanding of the complexities of the instruments
Desirable attributes: strategic commercial mindset, natural project manager, confident communicator, detail-oriented, curious and creative, problem solver, quick learner, adaptable
Main responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability to deliver results within deadlines
Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of ROI to the client
Assist in training of EMEA Sales Team and Distributors of PCR and Techne Products
Provide prompt and accurate technical support for end-user and Distributor/ Service Company alike, via phone, online or in-person
Work closely with the local sales teams in the UK, France and Germany
Grow customer base through cold calling and dual calling with other team members
Be able to identify market changes and communicate back to business leaders.
Communication and working relationships
The post holder will be part of Cole-Parmer, St Neots, UK and is required to establish effective working relationships with various departments including Sales, Product Managers and international teams.
The most challenging part of the job
The role requires someone who is comfortable Project Managing a high volume of varied tasks amongst various stakeholders whilst working towards set deadlines
